It’s an historic day for 10 Count – we’ve got two firsts this week that will knock your socks off: it’s the first time we’ve had a ref on and the first time we’ve solely featured a female on the show.

Dawn The Ref is with us this week and it’s one of the most interesting episodes of the podcast to date. Dawn is the daughter of the late Kenny Hampton, a respected and loved referee who worked the indie circuit all over Indiana and Kentucky. Though her dad may be gone, his legacy lives on in Dawn. You can see his passion and excellence spill over into her performance.

Dawn has thousands of stories from traveling with her dad during his career; which, in turn, led to some excellent opportunities for her. She’s been in the ring with legends of the business both in training and in officiating. Specifically, she has a great gimmick inspired by none other than the Moondogs.

We’re going Massive this week – and also summoning our zords.

Sam Knight stopped by to talk Massive Wrestling. They’ve got a show going on Tonight at LEAP Junction In Lawrenceville, Illinois and as always, they’re bringing some of the biggest names in the area with them.

It’s a historic night for Massive because they’ll be crowning the first ever Massive Heavyweight Champion. Sam also mentioned he has some special plans for Zach Hogan. For those who don’t know, Zach took home the Dr. Isaiah Pops Watson Memorial Cup back in August.

Also On this episode, Will Bray took the reigns as guest host and he brought along his pal Joey O’Riley for the ride. These two talk about training, getting into wrestling and their unique gimmicks following the story arc of the White and Green Power Rangers. It’s definitely one of the more fun episodes of the 10 Count Takeover.
